Orange County Resident Wants Reimbursement on Bee Eradication Service
A resident of Huntington Beach is requesting that the city reimburse the charges she had to pay to a bee removal company to remove a hive of aggravated honey bees. The lady claims the bees were a threat to the whole neighborhood and had everyone on the block on lock down.
It was reported that about 3,000 Africanized honey bees had come from a city-owned tree down to the neighbourhood street earlier in the month. Residents of the neighborhood reported that the presence of the bees had them worried resulting in a hostage-like experience for six days. Children and pets were kept inside until the bees were removed.
Although, no one was hurt, the bee removal bill was for $150 and forwarded to the Orange County Register to demand a refund for the bee eradication in Orange County.
Given the state’s current economic situation, this Huntington Beach resident shouldn’t expect an immediate response since Arnold has recently stated that all additional state spending will be (in a macho Australian voice) “terminated”.
